Art & change
April 1 - May 17, 2026
“Art & Change” brings together a range of Northern California artists who harness their creativity and craft to explore distinct elements of our climate crisis. The work takes us where words cannot, expressing complex concepts through color, form, material, and scale, grappling with the seriousness of our moment without leaving beauty or humor behind. A quilter reimagines a traditional art form to map rising global temperatures. An intricate mosaic reveals itself to be composed of thousands of fragments from broken plastic toys. Discarded tires are transformed into an enigmatic sculpture that questions our glorification of consumer culture.
Working with unexpected materials and open-ended narratives, these artists provoke conversation, ignite curiosity, and invite engagement - essential ingredients for creating the change we need. Curated in collaboration with Audrey Heller.
